The Raven
Saw The Raven last night with the wife and Justin. I thought it was going to be about the murderer, and that was part of the story, but the main gist of the movie is to propose a scenario for the last few days of Poe's life. The movie ends with Poe dying on a park bench which is what happened in his real life. It was an enjoyable period piece though it did have a slow start. Overall a recommended movie.

And so it goes
Been back to work a couple of months now and I can feel the work routine returning, which is good. Have seen several movies so far this year, most were okay but nothing real special.
Joshua broke up with Nicole, a big surprise to me. We will see if they can reconcile.
And so it goes.
And for all you Family Guy fans...

Back to work
Well, the doc has released me to return to work. Nice that things are getting back to “normal”, but I’m not looking forward to the stress involved with my job, especially these days. Anyway, the wait for HR to process my return to work now begins. Who knows how long that will take, and how much additional paperwork will be involved. And so it goes.

Looks like I was wrong about Romney vis-a-vis Newt. It is a comedy worth watching. And that's why I hate the primary process. Members of the same party attacking each other, and then, when one is chosen to run, they all support him/her, forgetting all of the faults they attached to that candidate in the primary. It is almost childish.
Teri is healing well, no longer using the ACE bandage or ice on her knee. A couple of more weeks and she will probably be 100%, or very close. I saw the movie War Horse with Joshua the other night, and managed to sit there for the whole movie without too much discomfort. BTW, the movie was okay. I wouldn't call it a first choice.
Go Packers! And Denver, if just to eliminate the Pats.

Casual day today. Still trying to catch up on all the FB games I used to play daily. Teri's knee is getting worse, it seems, but she has to wait until Dec. 22 to get it fixed. I still have the wound on my left sacrum, though it is healing well, but still causes pain. Joshua is home this evening, hopefully he can have dinner with us. Hoping the Chargers can win tonight, but it probably doesn't matter anymore for this year.
I was glad to see that Cain has decided to get out of the race for the moment, anyway. Tired of hearing about this goofball. And with Newt back, Cain has no chance. Just like Romney, I would guess.
It is cold and windy again today, but not as windy as last week. Still, it was quite cold when we saw Joshua in Hello Dolly at the theater last night. A really great show, glad I was healed enough to make it.
Another day, another nickel. See ya.
